5 Viners from Anglia Pea Gowers working 24hrs a day to harvest the finest peas. The crop was laid slightly by the wind so the manager got the viners to “slip” the crop. The viners headed westwards into the crop then returned back down the field not harvesting. This meant that the crop was always leaning into the machines as they harvested.
